🌿✨ For the 20th time, we return to the magical setting of the Castles of Strassoldo to celebrate the beginning of a new season together! 🌸🕊️
🌷 S/S 2025 🌷 Collection
This year we will take you on a journey through our enchanted garden, among magnolias, gardenias and roses, immersed in the vibrant colors of exotic bird plumage. Our cotton satins, gobelins and vintage fabrics tell this poetic symphony, giving life to creations that speak of nature, art and dreams.
A unique event, which harmoniously intertwines the millenary history of the place and the enchantment of its natural environment with the mastery of true artisans, nurserymen, artists and small biodynamic producers of excellence from every corner of Italy.
In the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia, in an enchanting village part of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, between the UNESCO cities of Aquileia and Palmanova, stand the twin castles of Strassoldo: The Castle of Strassoldo di Sopra, which has been the setting for 27 years, twice a year, of the "Magical Weaves" exhibitions and the Castle of Strassoldo di Sotto, which for the occasion opens its park for guided tours at a time. These manors, with their centuries-old history, continue to shine as hubs of culture and tradition.
The magic of these initiatives blossoms in the enchantment of a place that breathes history: a castle inhabited for over a thousand years by the same family that still guards its soul. Between ancient walls and secret gardens, over 120 authentic master craftsmen, nurserymen and decorators from all over Italy, selected with passionate care by the owner according to strict criteria of excellence, give life to a tale of beauty and tradition.
An enchanted path, designed to enhance both the creations and the spaces that welcome them, invites visitors to a journey through time and art. The walk starts from the ancient Ottonian tower and winds, like an Ariadne's thread, through the two floors of the main building, the garden of the Armigers, the centuries-old park, the Rice Mill, the Brolo and the Chancellery. In this microcosm of wonders, every corner whispers stories of ingenuity, passion and tradition, in a continuous dialogue between past and present.
The intimate knowledge of the place and its most hidden secrets weaves an almost magical atmosphere, where the Genius Loci – the protective spirit of the castle – dances in perfect harmony with the meticulously selected craftsmanship. The ancient castle complex is transformed into a treasure trove of timeless wonders, where the hands of the clock seem to slow down, inviting visitors to fully immerse themselves in the experience.
In this enchanted microcosm, jewels embellished with rare stones and luminous artistic ceramic pearls, tamed by fire at 1000 degrees, tell stories of mastery and patience while fine fabrics, patiently worked on looms, caress the senses with their refinement. The elegant wrought iron lamps, embellished with silver galvanic baths, silently dialogue with period paintings and furniture that have witnessed the passage of history, while delicate iron wire creations, shaped according to centuries-old traditions, are harmoniously intertwined with interpretations of contemporary design.
In the Brolo, caressed by crystalline resurgence streams, spring awakens in a riot of botanical rarities: ancient roses that release forgotten scents, rustic orchids that dance through the seasons, medicinal herbs silent guardians of ancestral knowledge and native plants cultivated with love in respect of the most authentic tradition.
The sensory journey continues among gastronomic excellences: from amber honey harvested according to ancient rituals to jams of wild fruits picked in the uncontaminated mountains, up to baked goods made with ancient grains and sourdough guarded and handed down with devotion through the generations.
An experience that has been renewed, like a magical ritual, twice a year for 27 years, where each edition reveals a new story, in a place where time seems to flow according to its own rules. "Magical Weaves" transcends the concept of a market exhibition to become a melting pot of creative activities and a true balm for the soul, a precious moment to find serenity and inner nourishment.
These initiatives make it possible to reveal a reality normally hidden from the public eye and silently contribute to preserving and enhancing a priceless historical and cultural heritage and the entire territory that surrounds it, sustaining themselves solely through passion and private commitment, without the support of public contributions.
