Parsi Collection — Elegance with a Soul

For the 2025/26 season, Cencetak embarks on a journey of research that weaves together art, memory, and spirituality. The inspiration comes from the Parsi people — a community of Persian origin faithful to the Zoroastrian religion, who, over the centuries, found refuge in India, carrying with them a cultural heritage of remarkable coherence and refinement.

The Parsis mastered the ability to blend the austere Persian aesthetic with the Indian imagination, refining their craftsmanship to reach levels of excellence recognized worldwide. From this synthesis was born a unique embroidery tradition, influenced by trade routes with China and enriched by Hindu symbolism — a precious language of threads and stories.

Parsi embroidery, or gara embroidery, comes to life on dark silks where pastel hues do more than decorate — they illuminate. The motifs depict sacred animals, thousand-petaled flowers, and scenes drawn from religious and folk narratives. Each fabric bears the delicacy of the artisan’s hand and, at the same time, the strength of a deeply preserved identity.

Particularly meaningful is the symbol of the bird, emblem of Zoroastrian culture: it represents the soul freeing itself from the body and ascending toward the divine — a messenger between heaven and earth, a bridge between the visible and the invisible. To wear it is to carry a sign of purity, transformation, and

renewal.

From these inspirations arises the new Cencetak collection: four creations that celebrate the narrative art of Parsi embroidery and transform it into everyday style.

Loto interprets purity born from imperfection. The sacred flower gracefully emerges from silk satin duchesse, expressing an essential and luminous elegance.

Laleh pays homage to the Persian tulip, symbol of passion and fleeting beauty. On shimmering velvet, the embroidery becomes poetry in motion — a tribute to those who live love as a creative force.

Parandeh represents the Sacred Bird, a spiritual guardian and guide toward the light. On fine silk, the embroidery traces a symbolic flight that wraps the foot like a talisman.

Qoqnus is inspired by the phoenix of Persian mythology. It is footwear that celebrates the courage of rebirth — a statement of inner strength and transformation.

As with every Cencetak creation, this collection is handcrafted in Friuli following a centuries-old tradition, without the use of glue and with hand-stitched seams. The result is footwear that is both durable and gentle — unique by nature, enriched by small irregularities that testify to its authenticity.

The Parsi Collection is not merely a style proposal. It is a meeting of cultures, a celebration of identity, an invitation to wear stories that speak through detail. Each model is a fragment of an ancient world brought back to life today, step by step, with the awareness that true elegance is the kind that endures over time and leaves a mark on the heart.
