Discover “Loto”, a unique shoe that blends the tradition of handcrafted friulane footwear with the timeless allure of Parsi culture. Made from exquisite duchess satin silk and finely embroidered, this luxurious friulana is an ode to quiet elegance and spirituality.
The embroidery draws inspiration from the lotus symbol, a sacred flower that blooms pure from murky waters. It reflects the Zoroastrian philosophy of the Parsi people: to live with integrity in an imperfect world, blossoming toward truth and light.
Every decorative detail, thousand-petaled flowers, totemic animals, enchanted landscapes, is crafted on dark silk using delicate pastel colored threads. This is more than a shoe; it is a storytelling object, a small temple to wear, carrying with it a millennia-old cultural heritage.
As with all our shoes, these too can be enriched with accessories such as crystal broches available in the section Accessories.
CenCeTak are handcrafted shoes also called scarpets or friuliane made in Friuli, following a heritage craft that has lasted for more than 200 years. Traditionally made without glue, these shoes are constructed exclusively with seams and finished by hand. They are resistant shoes thanks to the cotton interlining and reinforced by a high density of stitches on the sole and on the edges. The lining of the CenCeTak shoe is always in 100% silk, or for the more casual pair, in cotton.
Each pair of friuliane is unique, as a hand-made artisan product. Small imperfections confirm its manual production.
